This Bellamy’s Reserve Rum was produced on a molasses basis in September 2007 by the Clarendon Distillery in Jamaica. It was distilled in the pot still process and has the MDR* mark. Afterwards, the single cask was stored for 15 years in an ex-bourbon barrel – 13 of them tropically in Jamaica.
Uncoloured and unsweetened, the Bellamy’s Reserve Rum Clarendon 2007 was then filled into 292 bottles with 52 percent by volume.
Nose: glue, apple, pear, vanilla, bitter almond, muscat, allspice and smoke
Palate: menthol, white wine, pear, wood, chalk, roasted notes
Finish: with hints of pear and apple
