2012 Guyana Diamond

The 9-year-old Bellamy’s Reserve Rum from the Diamond Distillery in Guyana matured in oak barrels from November 2012 to February 2022.

Bottled at a drinking strength of a full 50% by volume, it offers a decent flavor power that is best explored neat.

Nose: bitter orange, tobacco, wood, dark berries, butterscotch, raisins, dark chocolate and a hint of allspice

Palate: bitter orange, tobacco, wood, dark berries, butterscotch, raisins, dark chocolate and a hint of allspice

Finish: subtle fruity and dry

2007 Belize Travellers

With the 2007 Belize Travellers, Bellamy’s Reserve Rum presents its first single barrel rum from the Travellers Distillery. It was distilled in the MBT column still of the Travellers Liquors and bottled in February 2023 with an ABV of 55%. The rum was matured in white oak barrels for 15 years in total of which it spent 13 years in a tropical climate and further 2 years in continental climate. Those who appreciate a powerful Belize rum will be overwhelmed of its dry and spicy character as well as the intense notes of nuts and chocolate.

Nose: roasted coconut chips, orange peel, butter biscuit,
milk chocolate

Palate: roasted nuts, cinnamon, sandalwood, grape jelly, maple syrup and dark chocolate

Finish: long and nutty with hints of chocolate

2007 Belize Travellers

With the 2007 Belize Travellers, Bellamy’s Reserve Rum presents its first single barrel rum from the Travellers Distillery. It was distilled in the MBT column still of the Travellers Liquors and bottled in February 2023 with an ABV of 55%. The rum was matured in white oak barrels for 15 years in total of which it spent 13 years in a tropical climate and further 2 years in continental climate. Those who appreciate a powerful Belize rum will be overwhelmed of its dry and spicy character as well as the intense notes of nuts and chocolate.

This Bellamy’s Reserve Rum was produced on a molasses basis in September 2007 by the Clarendon Distillery in Jamaica. It was distilled in the pot still process and has the MDR* mark. Afterwards, the single cask was stored for 15 years in an ex-bourbon barrel – 13 of them tropically in Jamaica.

Uncoloured and unsweetened, the Bellamy’s Reserve Rum  2007 Jamaica Clarendon was then filled into 292 bottles with 52 percent by volume.

Nose: glue, apple, pear, vanilla, bitter almond, muscat, allspice and smoke

Palate: menthol, white wine, pear, wood, chalk, roasted notes

Finish: with hints of pear and apple

This vintage single cask from Panama was produced in August 1997 on the basis of molasses in the Don José distillery. It matured for 26 years in an ex-bourbon cask. The cask spent the first 8 years in a tropical climate and the rest of the maturation period in a continental climate.

A total of 192 bottles of this single cask bottling are available.

Nose: salted caramel, nutmeg, roasted hazelnuts, nougat creme, pepper, fermented fruits, oak wood

Palate: salted caramel, nutmeg, roasted hazelnuts, nougat creme, pepper, fermented fruits, oak wood

Finish: long-lasting with notes of caramel and wood

1997 Panama

This vintage single cask from Panama was produced in August 1997 on the basis of molasses in the Don José distillery. It matured for 26 years in an ex-bourbon cask. The cask spent the first 8 years in a tropical climate and the rest of the maturation period in a continental climate.

2012 Jamaica HD

This twelve years old Pot Still Rum has been aged for three years in the tropical climate of Jamaica before maturing for further 9 years in continental climate – all in the same Ex-Bourbon barrel.

Due to this rum being a single cask it is somewhat limited: There are only 230 bottles available.

Nose: banana, pineapple, coconut, mango, raisins, toffee, wood and spices

Palate: creamy and dry with notes of papaya, banana, wood, tannins, coconut, caramel and lime

Finish: long-lasting with notes of smoke and wood

2012 Jamaica HD

This twelve years old Pot Still Rum has been aged for three years in the tropical climate of Jamaica before maturing for further 9 years in continental climate – all in the same Ex-Bourbon barrel.

Due to this rum being a single cask it is somewhat limited: There are only 230 bottles available.

Nose: banana, pineapple, coconut, mango, raisins, toffee, wood and spices

Palate: creamy and dry with notes of papaya, banana, wood, tannins, coconut, caramel and lime

Finish: long-lasting with notes of smoke and wood

2006 Australia

Out of its total age of more than 17 years, this very mature rum with the mark MAIC12 spent 12 years in the hot and dry temperatures of Australia before ageing for a further 5 years in continental climate.

Bottled at a punchy cask strength of 67,6 % ABV this rum comes with an oily mouthfeel and intensive aromas of walnuts, oak, honey, ginger, herbs, nutmeg, liquorice, lime and dark chocolate.

There are only 260 bottles of this single cask available.

Nose: spices, smoke, walnut, honey, citrus fruits, licorice, ginger and nutmeg

Palate: lime, wood, dark chocolate, pepper, nutmeg, honey, coriander and sage

Finish: dry, woody and fresh with a lot of spicy notes

2006 Australia
